Executive Functioning Coaching

Executive functioning skills help a child manage life efficiently. Controlled largely by the frontal lobe of the brain, these skills include: managing time, paying attention, transitioning focus from one subject to another, organizing materials, remembering details, acting from experience, and multi-tasking. Our specialists work with students and their families to identify areas of concern and to develop a plan to address learning and organizational needs. Students learn new organizational tools and regularly practice using these tools in order to develop lasting and beneficial routines.
